and Chad Schoch showed huge improvement during the season. Among the
regular varsity runners, Andy Harvey led the way with an improvement of
1:30.

Comments: This statistic provides an interesting way to
look at the contributions of the different runners. Just like 1999,
Matt was "da man" over the course of the season.

Comments: Mike and Eric get the website award for most improved.
Honorable mentions go to Dan, Josh and Nick. Allen and James get the
"injuries, injuries, injuries" awards.
The courses were much easier in 2000. In 1999, the only fast
courses were Jackson and Portage. For 2000, there was Jackson,
Portage, Hudson Mills, Willow Metropark and MIS.

Comments: The leader is Andy Harvey. His time as a freshman at the
tough Brother Rice invitational on a hot day was remarkable.
Of course some runners start slowly but improve tremendously
during their first season. Joe Anderson is a good example.
