USATF-Michigan meet, November 13, 1999

Highlights

The season is over for the Pioneer team. However, the runners can still participate as individuals in AAU, USATF and Footlocker races. Several runners participated in the USATF-Michigan meet at Metro Beach. All raced in the intermediate boys division (15-16 years old).

Matt Johnson placed 5th with a time of 16:52. James Naughton placed eighth with a personal record time of 16:59, breaking 17 minutes for the first time. Philip McMillan ran his first-ever 5K race. His time was 19:08, which is very fast for a first race. Dan Wucherer and Josh Salvner also set new personal records.
